Exciting news from TuneRC!
The Thor 2s balance charger’s port(s) now turn off automatically when the battery reaches full charge!
All chargers ordered from this point forward have this new feature!
Some of the updated Thor’s will come with the same PCB as the original which has been manually modified by replacing a chip and adding two wires to each channel. This does not affect the performace or durabiltiy of the unit, it simply allows the charger to turn off the port(s) that have completed charging. The modified original models and the new updated mass production models preform exactly the same and will be random which version you receive when you order. If you get a modified version it will come with a 180 day warranty to keep your mind at ease.
Please make sure you check the input voltage of the Thor is 5V before you power the Thor unit.
- Handy 2S Field Charger Having More Time Whooping
Weighs only 50g, it can be packed into any FPV bag.
You can charge FOUR 2S batteries with different starting voltage at the same time in the field or on the go.
The Thor unit can be powered with 2S-6S battery (7-28V) or powebank using our Thor’s adaptor with Type-C and XT60 ports.
- You Prefer Home Charging than Field Charging
No problem. You can choose the 5V AC/DC power adaptor option. Or if you want to use your own AC/DC power adaptor with the Thor’s adaptor, make sure your AC/DC adaptor meets the requirement here.
- Safe Charging
2S batteries are balanced charged and the Thor cuts off automatically once charging is completed.

Q: Why does the LED charge indicator sometimes switch back and forth between green and red?
A: This is normal for the Thor charger. If there was a larger the voltage difference between the cells of the charging battery then this will happen near the end of the charging cycle as the cells are balanced. Please wait for the LED charge indicator to stay solid green for the battery to be fully charged.
Q: Can I plug in four 2S Lipo batteries that are at different voltage levels at the same time?
A: Yes! This is the signature feature of the Thor Charger. You can plug in four different capacity 2S Lipo batteries all at different starting voltages all at the same time.
Q: How many amps does each port charge at?
A: Each port will charge at 480mA regardless of the capacity or starting voltage of the battery.
Q: How long will will it take to charge my 2S Lipo battery?
A: Charge time depends on both the capacity and starting voltage of your 2S Lipo battery.
Approximate Charging Time Calculation (in hours) = Battery mah/ Charging current mA
Example: Suppose you are charging a 300mah 2S battery, the charging current is 480mA for each port; So the charging time is 300mah / 480mA = 0.625 hours or 37.5 minutes (charging from ~3.7V to 4.2V).
The button is designed to rectify the detected cell numbers of your XT60 battery manually when the detected number shown on the LED is wrong. If the detection result is wrong, you can short press the button to swtich from 2S-6S or disable the cut-off voltage function.
But the software detection accuracy is pretty good, so in most of the case you won’t need to press the button.
